The frame is 2–10 October 2026, give or take a couple of days: each trip takes the dates its flights actually support, so two are seven nights and five are eight. Every card names its own dates. They are not the same kind of holiday, and that is the point.
Money on the cards covers getting there, the bed and the car for both of us. Food and daily spending are left out on purpose: they come to roughly the same wherever we go, and including them would hide the differences that matter. Because the trips are not all the same length, each card also gives a per-person-per-night figure. Anything with a dotted underline is an estimate.

Both options sit before 25 October, so Greece and Türkiye are on the same clock — no time change at the ferry. Berlin is one hour behind both.

Both date options, priced side by side. Each line carries a low and a high because several figures are still estimates rather than quotes.
Food assumes cooking breakfast at the house, a taverna dinner most nights and one properly good meal. Fuel is set at a flat €5 a day, roughly 60–70 km on island roads at Greek island pump prices. Extras cover museum entries, the Nea Moni donation, mastic to bring home.
Organised by region rather than by base, because the base isn't decided. Each day is one thing worth driving for. From Chios Town nothing on this list is more than about an hour away; from Volissos or Avgonima the northern and western days get shorter and the southern ones longer.
Two days are deliberately unscheduled. October weather on Chios is usually warm and swimmable but the north wind can shut the west coast down for a day, and you want the slack.
